無怙（上亾夫反古文奇字作无像天屈西北角也有本作旡音既非无字也下胡古反爾雅曰怙恃也詩云無父何怙無母何恃）。

Without reliance (無怙: for the upper, wáng + fū [wú]; in ancient eccentric script written as 无, resembling heaven bending at the northwest corner. Some editions have 旡, pronounced jì, which is not the character wú. For the lower, hú + gǔ [hù]; the Erya says, "怙 and 恃 mean to rely upon." The Shijing says, "Without a father, upon whom can one rely? Without a mother, upon whom can one depend?").
