旱澇（上胡笴反切韻雨少也字書陽極也從日干聲下郎到反切韻淹又水澇也或作潦字亦同又音老）。

旱澇 (Drought and flood: the upper character has the fanqie 胡笴; the Qieyun says it means scarcity of rain; character dictionaries say it means extreme yang; it is formed from 日 with the phonetic 干. The lower character has the fanqie 郎到; the Qieyun says it means inundation, and also flooded water; it is also written 潦, which is the same character, and is also pronounced 老).
