薜舍（上蒲計反梵語或云毘舍又云吠舍西域四姓一也臣富多財通於高貴或𧷮旅博貨涉歷異邦畜積資財家藏珍寶或稱長者或封邑號者也）。

Vaiśya (薜舍: the upper is pú + jì [bì]; Sanskrit, also written as 毘舍 or 吠舍, one of the four castes of the Western Regions. They are prosperous in wealth, dealing with nobles and dignitaries, or traveling as merchants trading goods across foreign lands, accumulating wealth and storing treasures in their homes; they are either addressed as elders (śreṣṭhin) or granted fief names).
