綟急: The upper [character is read with the] fanqie lian + jie. The Qieyun states: 'A small knot.' The character dictionaries state: 'To twist and turn; identical in meaning to lie (捩).' The lower character, ji (急), is formed from person (人), hand (手), and heart (心); it means that when a person is in an urgent state, it concerns the heart and hand. 𠂊 is the ancient character for person; ⺕ is the ancient character for hand; it is an ideographic compound.
