貨鬻（上呼臥反切韻賄貨也字書云市財也亦賣也從貝化聲下余六反切韻鬻賣也爾雅曰鬻縻也說文作鬻從毓鬻省聲也）。

貨鬻 (for the first character, [huò], fanqie 呼臥 [x- + -uɑ = xuɑ/huò]. The Qieyun says: “Bribery goods and merchandise.” The character books say: “Market goods; also to sell. It takes 貝 as radical and 化 as phonetic.” For the second character, [yù], fanqie 余六 [j- + -uk = juk/yù]. The Qieyun says: “鬻 means to sell.” The Erya says: “鬻 means congee.” The Shuowen writes it as 鬻, taking 毓 as radical and an abbreviated 鬻 as phonetic.)
