欻然（上輝律反𦵮琮曰欻急也蒼頡篇猝起也說文吹起也從炎吹省會意字也下然字從肉犬灬灬音標火行皃也云犬逐其肉灬以然之亦會意字也）。

欻然 (for the first character, [xū], fanqie 輝律 [x- + -uǐt = xiuət/xū]. Bian Cong says: “欻 means swift.” The Cangjie pian says: “To rise up suddenly.” The Shuowen says: “To blow up. It takes 炎 as radical and an abbreviated 吹 as phonetic; it is an associative compound.” For the second character, the character 然 takes 肉, 犬, and 灬. 灬 is pronounced 標, depicting the appearance of fire. It means a dog pursuing meat, with fire (灬) roasting it; this is also an associative compound.)
