怡[申*(乞-乙+易)]（上與之反切韻和樂也爾雅曰怡懌悅欣樂也下丑亮反玉篇通[申*(乞-乙+易)]也韻英云達也脉經云膓為膓氣之府也從申膓省聲）。

Pleasant and harmonious (yichang 怡[申*(乞-乙+易)]: the first character has the fanqie [reading] yu + zhi [yi]. The Qieyun says: "Harmonious and joyful." The Erya says: "怡 means pleased, joyful, and happy." The second character has the fanqie [reading] chou + liang [chang]. The Yupian says: "Open and free (tongchang)." The Yunying says: "To penetrate." The Classic of the Pulse says: "The colon is the repository of gut qi." It takes 申 and an abbreviated 膓 [as phonetic]).
