Loom and shuttle [機杼] (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 居 + 衣; the second has the fanqie phonetic spelling 除 + 旅; the Fangyan says that shuttles and beams are weaving implements; the Shuowen says a shuttle holds the weft; both characters are composed of wood [木] with 幾 and 予 as phonetics).
