蹙眉（上子六反切韻近也從也考聲逼急也從戚足聲經文從就作蹴切韻逐也又音七宿反非蹙眉義）。

蹙眉 (The first character has the fanqie *zi* + *liu* [cu]. The *Qieyun* states: "Near; following." The *Kaosheng* states: "To press urgently. It takes *qi* (sorrow) and has *zu* (foot) as its phonetic." In the sūtra text it is written with 就 as 蹴. The *Qieyun* defines it as "to chase", and it also has the pronunciation with the fanqie *qi* + *su* [cu]; this does not carry the sense of furrowing the brows (*cumei*).)
