鵶𩿒（上烏加反切韻烏別名也說文作鴉云陽鳥也下處脂反又作鴟郭注爾雅云鴟鵂也今江東通呼此屬為怪鳥又云鴉鴟也）。

鵶𩿒 (The first character has the fanqie *wu* + *jia* [ya]. The *Qieyun* states: "Another name for a crow." The *Shuowen* writes it as 鴉, stating: "The sun bird." The second character has the fanqie *chu* + *zhi* [chi], and is also written as 鴟. Guo [Pu]'s commentary on the *Erya* states: "The *chi* is the scops owl (*xiu*). Nowadays south of the Yangzi, this kind of bird is commonly called a monstrous bird." It is also said: "*Yachi* [refers to owls and similar raptors].")
