虹霓（上戶公反尒雅云螮蝀虹也郭注云俗云美人虹下五兮反尒雅云霓為挈貳郭云雌霓也釋文云雄曰虹雌曰霓亦作蜺字）。

虹霓 (The upper character has the fanqie 戶公 [h- + -(k)wong = hóng]. The Erya says: 'The 螮蝀 [dìdōng] is a rainbow.' Guo's commentary says: 'Colloquially called a female rainbow.' The lower character has the fanqie 五兮 [w- + -(h)ei = ní]. The Erya says: 'The ní is called the secondary companion.' Guo says: 'The secondary rainbow.' The Shiwen says: 'The male is called hóng, the female is called ní.' It is also written as 蜺).
