火星（火之精也色赤其性禮執法之像也履道而明則民安國泰失度緊小則中外兵喪大抵二年一周天七百八十日一見伏凡七十九年三十七終而四十二周天）。

Mars (火星: the essence of fire; its colour is red; its nature is propriety; it is the image of enforcing the law; when it treads its path with brightness, the people are at peace and the state is prosperous; when it loses its degrees and appears contracted and small, there are military disasters and mourning within and without; generally it circles the heavens once in two years, appearing and disappearing once every 780 days, completing thirty-seven cycles and forty-two circuits of the heavens in seventy-nine years).
