金星（太白金之精其色白其性勇將軍之象一年一周天見二百四十四日初夕見西方其行稍急日行一度少半漸遲二百四十九度乃留八日逆行十日夕伏十二日遂晨見東方大抵八年五終五度夕見五度晨見）。

Venus (金星: the Great White, the essence of metal; its colour is white; its nature is courage; it is the emblem of the general; it circles the heavens once in one year, visible for 244 days; when it first appears in the west at dusk, its motion is somewhat swift, moving one degree and a small half per day; slowing down gradually, at 249 degrees it remains stationary for eight days, moves retrograde for ten days, stays hidden at dusk for twelve days, and then becomes visible in the east at dawn; generally, in eight years it completes five cycles, appearing five times at dusk and five times at dawn).
