調擲（上徒聊反集訓云謂和也亦調弄也下直隻反古文作擿振也說文投擲也從手鄭聲）。

調擲 (The first character has the fanqie tu + liao; the Jixun says: “Meaning to harmonize; also to handle or manipulate.” The second character has the fanqie zhi + zhi; the ancient script writes it as 擿, meaning to shake. The Shuowen says: “To cast or throw.” It is composed of the hand radical (手) with zheng as phonetic.)
