揮斫（上許歸反切韻揮霍也考聲奮灑也韻英振也動也下之若反韻英云刀斫物也）。

Brandishing and chopping (揮斫: the upper character has the fanqie *xu* + *gui* [huī]; the *Qieyun* says, "[Huī means] hasty and sudden." The *Kaosheng* says, "To scatter with vigor." The *Yunying* says, "To shake; to move." The lower character has the fanqie *zhi* + *ruo* [zhuó]; the *Yunying* says, "To chop an object with a knife").
