瀑流（上蒲報反切韻瀑雨也蒼頡解詁云水濆起也說文從水暴聲下流字說文從水㐬音他忽反㐬倒書㜽字也㜽古文子字也）。

Torrential flow (瀑流: the upper character has the fanqie *pú* + *bào* [pù]; the *Qieyun* says, "*Pù* means torrential rain." The *Cang Jie jiegu* says, "Water surging up violently." The *Shuowen* says it is categorized under "water" with *bào* phonetic. As for the lower character *liú* [flow], the *Shuowen* says it is categorized under "water" with *tū* phonetic; *tū* has the fanqie *tā* + *hū* [tū]; *tū* is the character *zǐ* written upside down; *zǐ* is the ancient script form of the character *zǐ* [child]).
