驚愕（下五各反韻集云愕亦驚也說文從心咢聲咢音同上說文云正作㖾字也）。

驚愕 [Startled and astounded]: The lower [character] has the fanqie 五各 (wǔ + gè = è); the Yunji says, “愕 is also alarmed.” The Shuowen derives it from 心 with the phonetic 咢; 咢 has the same sound as above. The Shuowen states that the orthodox form is written 㖾.
