趒驀（上他弔反切韻趒越也說文從走兆聲經文從足作跳或作跳皆俗字下莫伯反聲類云踰也切韻謾驀也說文云騙馬上也從馬莫聲也）。

趒驀 [Leaping over]: The upper [character] has the fanqie 他弔 (tā + diào = tiào); the Qieyun says, “趒 means to leap over.” The Shuowen derives it from 走 with the phonetic 兆. In the sūtra text it derives from 足 as 跳 or 跳, both being vulgar characters. The lower [character] has the fanqie 莫伯 (mò + bó = mò); the Shenglei says, “To cross over.” The Qieyun says, “To deceive and mount.” The Shuowen says, “To mount a horse swiftly; it derives from 馬 with the phonetic 莫.”
