縛𢷏（上符籰反籰王縛反考聲云繫也說文云束也從糸搏省聲經文從專作縛音傳誤書也下簿角反韻集云相𢷏也或作撲音普卜反非相𢷏字）。

縛𢷏 [Binding and grappling]: The upper [character] has the fanqie 符籰 (fú + yuè = fú), where 籰 is 王縛 (wáng + fù = wù); the Kaosheng says, “To tie up.” The Shuowen says, “To bind; it derives from 糸 with an abbreviated phonetic 搏.” In the sūtra text it derives from 專 as 縛, sounded as 傳, which is an erroneous writing. The lower [character] has the fanqie 簿角 (bù + jiǎo = bó); the Yunji says, “To grapple with each other.” It is also written 撲 with the sound 普卜 (pǔ + bǔ = pū), which is not the character for grappling.
