牛𡲘（下奴弔反考聲云溺也說文云從水[尸@(一/八/毛)]省聲今經文作尿俗字通用）。
牛𡲘 [Cow urine]: The lower [character] has the fanqie 奴弔 (nú + diào = niào); the Kaosheng says, “Urine.” The Shuowen says, “It derives from 水 with an abbreviated [尸@(一/八/毛)].” The present sūtra text writes 尿, a vulgar character commonly used.
