棘刺（上紀力反韻集云小棗木名也下又作㓨音七賜反爾雅云茦刺也郭璞注云草刺針也茦音初革反方言云凡草木而㓨人者也）。

棘刺 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie ji + li. The Yunji says: "The name of a small date tree." The lower character is also written as 㓨, pronounced with the fanqie qi + ci. The Erya says: "茦 means thorns." Guo Pu's commentary says: "Thorns and prickles on plants." 茦 is pronounced with the fanqie chu + ge. The Fangyan says: "All plants and trees that prick people").
