熙怡（上虛之下與之反說文云熙怡和悅也爾雅云悅服也方言云怡喜也經或作嬉非）。

熙怡 [Joyful and harmonious]: The upper [character] is 虛之 (xū + zhī = xī); the lower [character] is 與之 (yǔ + zhī = yí). The Shuowen says, “熙怡 means harmonious and pleased.” The Erya says, “Pleased and submissive.” The Fangyan says, “怡 means joyful.” Sūtra texts occasionally write 嬉, which is erroneous.
