記䇷（下方列反切韻分䇷也考聲決也說文從言作謝亦同經文從草作莂埤蒼云穊種移蒔也非記䇷字）。

記䇷 [Noting and differentiating]: The lower [character] has the fanqie 方列 (fāng + liè = bié); the Qieyun says, “To separate and differentiate.” The Kaosheng says, “To decide.” The Shuowen derives it from 言 as 謝, which is also the same. In the sūtra text it derives from 草 as 莂; the Picang says, “To transplant densely grown seedlings,” which is not the character for 記䇷.
