帷幕（上洧悲反釋名云帷圍也言以自障圍也說文云在傍曰帷從巾隹聲也下摩各反顧野王云覆上曰幕說文音訓同從巾莫聲）。

Wéimù (curtain and canopy) (the first character has the fanqie wěi + bēi. The Shiming says: "Wéi means surrounding; it refers to enclosing oneself with a partition." The Shuowen jiezi says: "What is at the sides is called wéi; formed with the 'cloth' radical and the phonetic zhuī." The second character has the fanqie mó + gè. Gu Yewang says: "What covers above is called mù." The Shuowen jiezi has the same pronunciation and gloss; it is formed with the "cloth" radical and the phonetic mò).
