懷妊（上戶乖反切韻安也止也玉篇和也情懷也考聲懷抱也從心褱聲下汝鴆反考聲云身妊也說文云懷孕也從女壬聲又音如林反訓同）。

Being pregnant (懷妊: the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie [initial and final of] 戶 and 乖; the Qieyun says it means to be at ease, or to rest; the Yupian says it means harmonious, or feelings in the heart; the Kaosheng says it means to embrace; it takes the 'heart' radical and the phonetic 'huái'. The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie [initial and final of] 汝 and 鴆; the Kaosheng says it means being pregnant in body; the Shuowen says it means conceiving; it takes the 'woman' radical and the phonetic 'rén'; it is also pronounced with the fanqie [initial and final of] 如 and 林, with the same gloss).
