木槍（上木字說文云木冒也謂冒地而生也作[山/巾]下像其根上像枝也下七羊反字林云槍矟也從木倉聲）。

Wooden spear (木槍: the first character, 'mù' (tree/wood), the Shuowen says means emerging, emerging from the earth; written as [山/巾], the lower part resembles its roots and the upper resembles its branches. The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie [initial and final of] 七 and 羊; the Zilin says it is a spear or lance; it takes the 'wood' radical and the phonetic 'cāng').
