Without straw (無[葶-丁+呆]: the second character is [pronounced] 古老 [gǎo]; the Qieyun says: "Cereal stalks. Also, gǎoběn means a rough draft." The Shuowen says: "Grass. It is composed of 艸 (grass) with 槀 phonetic; 槀 has the same pronunciation as above").
