薜舍（亦梵語也薜毘桂反或云吠舍此云𧷮主雖有大福多有珍財不能通達典墳貨遷蓄積或賜封邑多為長者榮鎮國界以救貧乏）。

Vaiśya (薜舍: also Sanskrit; 薜 is [pronounced] 毘桂 [bì]; also written as feishe [吠舍]. Translated here as 'Merchant Master'. Although they have great fortune and much precious wealth, they cannot master the classical canons; they engage in trade, circulation, and accumulation, or are granted estates and towns, mostly serving as elders who bring honor and stability to the borders of the realm to relieve the impoverished).
