歐變（上謳口反考聲云歐謂欲吐也字書云胃中病也說文云吐也從欠區聲律文作漚音烏侯反亦於侯反謂久漬非歐義下彼春反化也切韻通也說文從文䜌聲）。

歐變 (The first character has the fanqie 謳口 [ǒu]. The Kaosheng states: '歐 means wishing to vomit.' The Zishu states: 'A sickness in the stomach.' The Shuowen states: 'To vomit; derived from 欠 with 區 as phonetic.' In the Vinaya text it is written as 漚 with the fanqie 烏侯 [ōu] or 于侯 [ōu], meaning soaking for a long time, which is not the meaning of 歐. The second character has the fanqie 彼春 [bīn], meaning transformation. The Qieyun states: 'It means passing through.' The Shuowen states: 'Derived from 文 with 䜌 as phonetic.').
