摘取（上陟革反考聲云手摘物也說文作揥取也律文作擿又音他曆反下七庾反切韻收也覓也從耳從又又即手也律文作取俗字也）。

摘取 (The first character has the fanqie 陟革 [zhāi]. The Kaosheng states: 'To pick things by hand.' The Shuowen writes it as 揥, meaning to take. In the Vinaya text it is written as 擿, also with the fanqie 他曆 [tì]. The second character has the fanqie 七庾 [qǔ]. The Qieyun states: 'To collect; to seek; derived from 耳 and 又, 又 being the hand.' In the Vinaya text it is written as 取, the popular character.).
