歔欷（上朽居反下許既反考聲悲也韻略云泣也顧野王云歔欷泣餘聲也說文云並從欠虛希聲也欷去聲）。

歔欷 (The upper character is 朽 + 居 with fanqie. The lower character is 許 + 既 with fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'Sorrowful.' The Yunlüe says: 'To weep.' Gu Yewang says: '歔欷 denotes the remaining sounds of sobbing.' The Shuowen says: 'Both are formed with 欠 ("to yawn/gasp") and 虛 and 希 respectively as phonetic components.' 欷 is in the departing tone).
