靉靆（上音愛下音代埤蒼云靉靆翳薈雲興盛皃切韻雲皃通俗文云雲覆日為靉靆也薈音烏外反）。

靉靆 (Dense cloudiness: the first character is pronounced 愛 [ài]; the second character is pronounced 代 [dài]. The Pi Cang says: '靉靆 describes clouds rising thick and dense.' The Qieyun says: 'The appearance of clouds.' The Tongsu wen says: 'When clouds cover the sun, it is called 靉靆.' 薈 is fanqie 烏外 [wài].)
