躓害（上陟利反說文云礙也字書云躓頓也從足質聲下戶艾反說文云傷也從宀宀家也口言也丰聲害從家中起也律文作害俗字手音介）。

躓害 (Stumbling and harm: for the first character, fanqie 陟利 [zhì], the Shuowen says: 'An obstruction.' The character book says: '躓頓 means to stumble.' It is formed from 足 [foot] with 質 phonetic. For the second character, fanqie 戶艾 [hài], the Shuowen says: 'To injure. It is formed from 宀, which means home, 口, which means speech, and 丰 phonetic; harm arises from within the home.' The vinaya text writes the popular character 害, with the sound 介.)
