咍然笑（上呼來反方言言楚人謂笑曰咍下私妙反禮記云執紼不笑臨喪不笑說文云欣笑也從犬戴其竹樂然後笑有作㗛𠸍二形皆非）。

咍然笑 (Laughing merrily: for the first character, fanqie 呼來 [hāi], the Fangyan says: 'People of Chu call laughing 咍.' For the last character, fanqie 私妙 [xiào], the Liji says: 'When holding the funeral ropes one does not laugh; when attending a mourning service one does not laugh.' The Shuowen says: 'Joyful laughing; it depicts a dog holding bamboo on its head and making merry, hence laughing.' Those who write the two forms 㗛 or 𠸍 are both incorrect.)
