Enfolding and storing (韜韞: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] tu + dao; the Shuowen says it means "to conceal"; the Qieyun says it means "broad"; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] yu + fen; the Qieyun says: "Yun means to store"; the Lunyu says: "To place it in a case and store it"; the Shuowen says it is formed from tanned leather [韋], with yao and wen both serving as phonetic; wei is pronounced with the fanqie wei + wei; the Shuowen says that wei means soft leather).
