Strangling the neck (絞頸: the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie [initial and final of] 古 and 巧; the Kaosheng says it means to twist and bind; the Erya says 𮈜 means to twist; Guo's Commentary says to entangle and twist ropes. The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie [initial and final of] 居 and 郢; the Shuowen says it means the neck; it takes the 'head' radical and the phonetic 'jīng').
