【浮陀跋摩】此云覺鎧。西域人。志操明直，聰悟出群。雖復遍集三藏，偏善《毘婆沙論》。常誦此部，用為心要。

[Buddhavarman] Here translated as "Awakened Armor" (Juekai). A native of the Western Regions. His resolve and conduct were clear and upright, his intelligence and comprehension surpassing the ordinary. Although he had thoroughly studied the Tripiṭaka, he was particularly expert in the Vibhāṣā Treatises. Constantly reciting this work, he took it as his mental essential.
