【那落迦】此翻惡者。那落，是者義；迦，是惡義。造惡之者，生彼處故。此標正報也。捺落迦或那落迦，此云不可樂，亦云苦具，亦云苦器。此標依報也。

【Naraka】 This translates as "evil-doer". Nara means "person" or "one who"; ka means "evil". Because those who commit evil are born in that place. This designates the direct retribution. Naraka or naraka translates as "unpleasant", also called "instrument of suffering", and also called "vessel of suffering". This designates the circumstantial retribution.
