【摩睺羅】《毘曇》翻為須臾。一日一夜，共有三十須臾。《僧祇》云：「二十羅預，名一須臾。」頌云：「百二十剎那，為怛剎那量。臘縛此六十，此三十須臾，此三十晝夜，三十晝夜月，十二月為年，於中減半夜。」

【Muhūrta】Translated in the Abhidharma as an "instant" (xuyu). One day and one night together comprise thirty muhūrtas. The Mahāsaṅghika-vinaya states: "Twenty layus make one instant." The verse says: "One hundred and twenty kṣaṇas / Constitute the measure of a tatkṣaṇa. / Sixty of these make a lava, / Thirty of these an instant (muhūrta), / Thirty of these a day and night. / Thirty days and nights make a month; / Twelve months make a year, / In which half a night is subtracted."
