【蘇利耶】或蘇梨耶，或修利。此云日神。日者，《說文》云實也，太陽之精。《起世經》云：「日天宮殿，縱廣正等五十一由旬，上下亦爾。」

[Sūrya] Also written as Sūriya or Sūri. Translated here as the Sun Deity. As for the sun, the *Shuowen jiezi* says it means 'fullness', the essence of great yang. The *Lokasthiti Sūtra* states: 'The palace of the Sun Deity is precisely fifty-one yojanas in length and breadth, and the same in height.'
