【提多羅咤（陟駕切）】《大論》云：「秦言治國，主乾闥婆及毘舍闍。」《光明疏》云：「上升之元首，下界之初天，居半須彌東黃金埵，王名提頭賴吒。此云持國，又翻安民。」

[Dhṛtarāṣṭra] The Da zhidu lun says: 'In the language of Qin, this means "ruling the country"; he presides over the gandharvas and piśācas.' The Guangming shu says: 'The chief of the ascending ones, the first heaven of the lower realm, dwelling on the golden terrace in the east halfway up Mount Sumeru, the king is named Dhṛtarāṣṭra. This translates as "holding the country", or as "pacifying the people".'
