【阿那他】此云非正伎人。《帝王略論》曰：「習與正人居，不能無正，猶生長齊地，不能不齊言也。習與不正人居，不能無不正，猶生長楚地，不能不楚言也。」《易》曰：「君子以常德行習教事。」譙子曰：「夫交人之道，猶素之白也。染之以朱則赤，染之以藍則青。」《大戴禮》曰：「與君子游苾乎，如入蘭芷之室，久而不聞其香，則與之化矣！與不善人居乎，如入鮑魚之肆，久而不知其臭，與之變矣！」

[Anātha]: Translated as an irregular entertainer/artisan. The Diwang lüelun says: "Habitually residing with upright people, one cannot fail to be upright, just as growing up in the land of Qi, one cannot fail to speak Qi speech. Habitually residing with non-upright people, one cannot fail to be non-upright, just as growing up in the land of Chu, one cannot fail to speak Chu speech." The Yijing says: "The noble person, through constant moral character, practices the affairs of instruction." Master Qiao said: "The way of associating with people is like the whiteness of plain silk: dye it with vermilion and it becomes red; dye it with indigo and it becomes blue." The Dadai Liji says: "Associating with noble persons is fragrant—like entering a room of orchids and angelica, after a long time one no longer smells its fragrance, for one has transformed alongside them! Residing with unvirtuous persons is like entering an abalone shop; after a long time one no longer notices its stench, for one has altered along with them!"
