【馱索迦】此云奴。《說文》云：「男入罪曰奴，女入罪曰婢。」《風俗通》云：「古制無奴婢。即犯事贓（則即）者，被贓罪，沒入官為奴婢。獲者，逃亡獲得為奴婢。」

[Dāsaka]: Translated as "male slave." The Shuowen says: "A male who enters servitude for a crime is called dāsa; a female who enters servitude for a crime is called bī." The Fengsu tong says: "Under the ancient system, there were no slaves. Those who committed crimes and were caught with illicit goods were punished for their stolen goods and confiscated by the state as slaves. Those captured while fleeing were seized and made slaves."
