【摩羅伽隷】此云碼碯，此寶色如馬之腦，因以為名。赤白色，琢成器，有文如纏絲焉。梵名謨薩羅揭婆。謨薩羅，此云杵；揭婆，此云藏。或言胎者，取馬腦堅實為名也。

[Mārgara] Here translated as agate; this treasure's color is like a horse's brain, hence it was named so. It is red and white; carved into vessels, it has patterns like wound silk. The Sanskrit name is musāragalva. Musāra is here translated as pestle; garbha is here translated as treasury. Or some say matrix (womb), named on account of the horse's brain being solid and hard.
