【拘盧舍】此云五百弓，亦云一牛吼地，謂大牛鳴聲所極聞。或云一鼓聲。《俱舍》云二里，《雜寶藏》云五里。

[Krośa]: Here translated as five hundred bows; it is also called 'the ground of a bull's bellow,' meaning the furthest distance at which the bellow of a large bull can be heard. Some say it is the range of a single drumbeat. The Abhidharmakośa says it is two li; the Zabaozang jing says it is five li.
