【伊帝目多伽】此云本事。《妙玄》云：「此說他事。如佛將淨飯五百人歸國，說三因緣之偈也。」

[Itivṛttaka] This translates as "past events." The Miaoxuan says: "This speaks of matters regarding others. Just as when the Buddha led five hundred of Śuddhodana's men back to his home country, he spoke the verses on the three causes and conditions."
