【摩訶袒持】《止觀》翻大祕要。遮惡持善祕要，祇是實相。《輔行》云：「顯非偏小，故名為大。一切法即一法，故名祕；一法攝一切法，故名要。」

[Mahādaṇḍadhāraṇī] The Zhiguan translates it as "the great secret essential". Warding off evil and upholding goodness in secret and essential ways is simply the true mark. The Fuxing says: "Revealing that it is not partial or small, it is therefore called great. All dharmas are simply the one Dharma, hence called secret; the one Dharma gathers all dharmas, hence called essential."
