四悉被物，眾善隨宜。四門之路有殊，一乘之果無別。種種正行，皆斷萬劫之愛繩；一一助道，盡破千生之塵網。今搜梵語，略注宋言，欲具乎二種莊嚴，須啟於四弘誓願。

The four siddhāntas cover sentient beings; multitudinous wholesomenesses accord with what is appropriate. The roads of the four gates are distinct, but the fruit of the One Vehicle is without difference. The various correct practices all sever the ropes of affection of myriad kalpas; every single auxiliary to the path entirely breaks through the dust-nets of a thousand lives. Now gathering the Sanskrit terms and briefly glossing them in the language of the Song, if one wishes to be complete in the two kinds of adornment, one must initiate the four universal vows.
