【毘世】此云勝異論。即六句義，於實句中有九法，地水火風空時方等。計積極微以成器世間，此外道計極微常住不滅。

[Vaiśeṣika (毘世)] This is translated as the "treatise of distinguished excellence". That is, the six categories of meaning (padārtha), within the category of substance (dravya) there are nine entities: earth, water, fire, wind, space, time, direction, and so forth. It posits accumulating subtle atoms (paramāṇu) to form the receptacle world; these non-Buddhists posit that subtle atoms are eternal and indestructible.
