【多伽梢】或多伽羅，此翻根智。《維摩》云：「智度菩薩母。」《淨名疏》云：「智度即是實智，實智有能顯出法身之力故，如母能生。」實智，亦名如理智。正觀真諦，如理而知，則無顛倒。《攝論》云：「順理清淨，名如理智。」《十八空論》云：「如理智，即無分別智，亦名正智，又名真智，又名根本智。」

[Duo-qie-shao] (Tagara?): Or duogieluo; this translates as "root wisdom" (mūla-jñāna). The Vimalakīrti states: "The perfection of wisdom is the bodhisattva's mother." The Commentary on Vimalakīrti states: "The perfection of wisdom is real wisdom (tattva-jñāna). Because real wisdom has the power to reveal the dharmakāya, it is like a mother able to give birth." Real wisdom is also called "wisdom in accordance with principle" (yathāvadbhāvika-jñāna). Rightly contemplating the ultimate truth and knowing in accordance with principle, it is without error. The Compendium of the Mahāyāna (Mahāyānasaṃgraha) states: "Conforming to principle and pure, it is called wisdom in accordance with principle." The Treatise on the Eighteen Emptinesses states: "Wisdom in accordance with principle is non-conceptual wisdom (nirvikalpa-jñāna); it is also called correct wisdom, true wisdom, and fundamental wisdom (mūla-jñāna)."
